Our route is designed for the average cyclist. We do not cycle on busy streets and we avoid difficult up-hills. Small groups and local tour leaders ensure your safety.
“Athens by bike” offers a full refund if the reservation is cancelled by the customer, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour. If you cancel in less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour date, a 100% cancellation fee will be applied.
If Athens by bike cancels the scheduled tour, in case of bad weather or for any other reason, a full refund will be applied.
Any amount owed to the traveler according to this policy, will be refunded without delay, and in any case within 14 days from the cancellation date.
Yes, the tour is suitable for all children over the age of 8 years old who know how to ride a bike on streets.
Yes it is. As mentioned before, we avoid busy streets and difficult up-hills, so anyone that know how to ride a bike can join our tours.

Our 24-gear trekking bikes are new, well maintained and checked regularly to ensure your safety and comfort.
We can provide them, upon request, with an additional charge.
Yes, our starting point is at the bike shop equipped with all the essential facilities for your convenience (water tap-sink, comfy seats, storage room and restroom).
Yes, you can leave what you do not need during the tour at our bike shop.
Our main tour language is English. However, we can offer our tours in French and Italian as “private” tours.
The bike tour participant should arrive at the designated starting point at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled starting time for the “check in” procedure. The bike tour will start at the scheduled time with the participants who are present at the scheduled time
The tour leader may wait up to ten (10) minutes if you are late.
Our tour leader is not a licensed tour guide. In order for us to comply with Greek laws, the tour leader will provide commentary and basic information as we pass by the archaeological sites . Only licensed Tour Guides may accompany or guide you inside monuments or museums.
For your financial protection Athens by bike is a member of Trust My Travel and our membership number is TMT51271. All client money, whether by bank transfer or card payment is paid into an independently managed Trust Account held at Barclays Bank in the UK. This means that in the unlikely event of our financial failure you will receive a refund for the services you have paid for. Money is not received by us until all suppliers have been paid and you have completed your trip.
